Senior Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established sales, marketing, and purchasing membership organization to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team.

• Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant will learn all aspects of the accounting functions and be primed for quick progression to a leadership role

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Perform month-end and year-end closing duties
• General ledger review and reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports
• Assist with member collections and cash application
• Cross train on A/P functions
• Inventory accounting
• Assist with budgeting process
• Treasury functions including managing cash funds and banking relationships
• Ad hoc reports and projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 4+ years of related experience
• Desire to progress into manager level role
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
