Overview of the Azure Data Developer:
As an Azure Data Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and can be leveraged to drive business insights and decisions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects and contribute to our data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities of the Azure Data Developer:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on Azure using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Implement data integration solutions, including data ingestion, data transformation, and data storage on Azure.
  • Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability.
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure data technologies and best practices, and apply them to enhance data solutions.
Qualifications of the Azure Data Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a data developer or data engineer with a focus on Azure data services.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Knowledge of data integration patterns, ETL best practices, and data warehousing principles.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
