CFS is partnering with an organization in Avon, CT who is looking to grow their finance team of 3.
About the Financial Analyst Role and Company:

• This position will report to the Sr. Financial Analyst

• They offer flexible hours between 8:00-6:30 Pm
• A standard 40-hour workweek is expected, with no mandatory overtime. However, optional overtime is available if the workload suggests it.

Tasks of the Financial Analyst:

• Oversee the strategic allocation of cash resources to optimize financial operations.
• Retrieve outstanding receivables, including sending broker reminders and promptly notifying policyholders of any pending actions.
• Execute transactions related to premium receivables and accurately recording them in the General Ledger.
• Assist in the comprehensive evaluation of receivable reports to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Draft professional and timely Notice of Cancellation letters to communicate policy changes effectively.
• Effectively manage cancellations related to Premium Finance, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on monthly financial tasks, including preparing journal entries, compiling financial statements, and conducting thorough analyses of financial activities.

Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Analyst:

• Our client seeks individuals with strong technological proficiency.
• Experience with advanced Excel functions is highly valued, and exposure to ERP systems is considered a bonus.
• The ideal Financial Analyst will be a proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative.
• While a Finance degree is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement for this position
