Senior Accountant

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP
• Responsible for performing and overseeing various tasks related to the month end close, including booking journal entries, bank reconciliations, preparing variance analysis, and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Assist in preparing for quarterly reviews and annual audits, including adherence to timelines, assisting in the resolution of audit issues, providing information to auditors as necessary
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Ad hoc reports and projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
