AP Specialist
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
- They are focused on education for one underserved group of students from birth to adulthood
- Founded over 50 years ago, they are one of the largest providers of education for this population
- They operate over 125 locations across the US
OVERVIEW OF THE AP SPECIALIST ROLE:
- The AP Specialist monitors the Accounts Payable inbox
- The AP Specialist processes invoices, acquiring all necessary approvals internally and externally
- Communicate within the accounting team and site locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP SPECIALIST ROLE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent necessary for AP Specialist position
- 1+ years in an accounts payable role
- Experience with Great Plains is a plus but not required
- The AP Specialist should have moderate experience with Excel.
