RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
- The Accounting Manager will help to oversee, hire, train and mentor a team of Accountants, AP and AR/Collections staff.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- The Accounting Manager will also review and handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyze financial information and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheets, payroll, journal entries and GL.
- Prepare sales and use tax.
- Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5+ years
- GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Excel
