GL Accounting Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in the processing of Accounts Payable invoices and expense reimbursements.
• Manage weekly check/ACH runs and submit necessary files with precision and timeliness.
• Oversee employee expense reporting and corporate credit card program.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, including allocations and fixed assets.
• Monitor and analyze monthly AP and AR Aging reports, addressing any discrepancies.
• Coordinate the annual 1099-MISC processing and quarterly tax payments.
• Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles
• Experience in supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Oracle and Concur a plus)
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels
