Accounting Manager
Direct Hire
Fast growing manufacturing company on the north side of Dayton is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team.
The Accounting Manager will be a instrumental in the data and profit analysis of the company.
New software is in place and the Accounting Manager will play a huge part in utilizing the software and conveying results to management!
DEGREE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
- Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial reports
Communicate results of operations with company VP's. - Initiate budget and forecasting activities.
- Recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company
Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the accounting department. - Plan, analyze, direct and schedule the accounting functions
Coordinate all activities of accounting staff relating to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Inventories, Payroll / HR Administration. - Provides management with timely reviews of organizations financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
- Assist with year end financial review of company's accounts performed by retained CPA firm.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
- Bachelor's in Accounting preferred but not required.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing accounting
- Experience with analysis and forecasting
- Tech savvy
