About the Company Working as the Data Analyst
- CFS New York is currently working with a Law Firm that specializes in securities fraud in Midtown Manhattan who are looking for their next Data Analyst to help grow the team
- The firm is well renowned, its attorneys have won several awards and accolades over the years and have a great reputation for getting the best settlement for their clients

- This role is in the office in their Midtown location near all train lines and Grand Central Station
Responsibilities of the Data Analyst
- Calculate losses from publicly traded investments under the securities laws accounting methodologies
- Analyze corporate insider transactions to determine the profit they realized from selling shares
- Perform comparative analyses to determine potential arguments for legal cases
- Work with the firm's attorneys regarding quantitative aspects of litigation
What you bring to the table as a Data Analyst
- 5+ years of related experience in an Data role; ideal industries include: Law Firm, Financial Services / Investment Management firms
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance; MBA is a major plus
- High level of advanced Excel and other reporting software; Bloomberg Terminal is a plus
- Experience managing and training a team
