Overview of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts receivable team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Set performance goals and objectives for the team, and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to ensure high levels of team morale and productivity.
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing customers for products or services rendered.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely collections.
- Review customer accounts for discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments.
Cash Application and Reconciliation:
- Supervise the process of applying customer payments to their respective accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile payments received with invoices issued and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
Preferred qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor role:
- 4+ years of account receivable background
- 1+ years of leadership experience
