Key Responsibilities as a Staff Accountant:

• Support month-end close processes across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage and maintain the monthly general ledger, including creating and posting journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable functions, such as entering invoices, generating Aged Trial Balances for client owners, and processing weekly checks.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including recording bank deposits (by job) and managing daily ACH deposits.
• Perform daily monitoring of online bank accounts.
• Process multi-state payroll, including full-cycle payroll for salary, hourly, and commission-based employees.
• Manage payroll-related functions such as benefit deductions and tax withholdings.

What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a must.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to assist in a variety of accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
