Assistant Controller
Salary: $115-125K
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
We have partnered with a manufacturing company situated in the northern region of Dayton on a search for an Assistant Controller. With a global presence spanning across the nation and substantial international sales, this role offers a pivotal connection to management and opportunities for advancing accounting competencies. Collaborative Senior Accountants or Accounting Managers with adaptability are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and accurately record bank transactions in the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and meticulously reconcile detailed balance sheet accounts.
- Compile and submit monthly reporting packages.
- Review, reconcile, and document bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Recent proficiency in SAP is a must.
- Advanced Excel proficiency
