OVERVIEW OF THE BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Manage the billing process for construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices in compliance with contract terms and AIA billing standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting team to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to construction billing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in construction billing, preferably in a similar role.
• Familiarity with AIA billing procedures and documentation.
• Proficiency with billing software, particularly ComputerEase, is a significant advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certification or coursework in accounting or construction management is a plus.
