Bookkeeper
Position: Bookkeeper
Location: East Hartford, CT
CFS is working with a manufacturing organization in East Hartford who is hiring a Bookkeeper - Read below for additional details!
About the Position:
- I personally placed their Bookkeeper last year. She is going on maternity leave the end of May
- This role could become permanent if the employee doesn't return back after 3-4 months, otherwise will be temporary for that duration
- The ideal candidate will start next mid-May to train with her first for a few weeks
- Laid back and collaborate work environment
- Flexible hours!! 8-5 are their core hours, but after training you can start as early as 7 AM
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Proficient in AP and AR terms, i.e. what does net 30 mean? (required)
- AP invoices varies on week - but match invoices to PO before processing payments (approx. 50 per week)
- Process ACH and check payments
- Accounts Receivable
Qualifications of the Position:
- Understanding of the general ledger (required)
- QuickBooks experience (plus)
