Job Overview:

As a Staff Accountant your daily, monthly, and quarterly support will be instrumental in driving the success of the accounting and finance processes:

• Accounts Receivable: Immerse yourself in the proper posting, reconciliation, and analysis of tradespend, identifying and flagging trade issues for the Controller and Sales & Planning Team.

• Broker Commission Expert: Take charge of the monthly Broker Commission calculation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with sales and supply chain teams, contributing to a harmonious and efficient workflow that fosters success across the organization.

• Monthly Close: Play a key role in the monthly close process for various general ledger accounts, preparing necessary journal entries with precision.

• Audit Assistance: Assist with external audit requests, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.

• Continuous Improvement: Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement, actively participating in ad hoc team projects and analyses. Conduct periodic audits of specific accounts to guarantee accuracy.

Qualifications Staff Accountant Applicants:

• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting (CPG industry experience is a plus!)
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Analytical and critical thinking skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player with a positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• NetSuite experience is a plus!

Staff Accountant Compensation: $70k-$90k annually, depending on experience and level of education.
