Controller
CONTROLLER ROLE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER:
- Prepare entries to general ledger accounts
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
- Review balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
- Review reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process
- Journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing
- FDIC reporting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance related field
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Intercompany transactions or experience with multiple entities or a holding company is a plus
