Accounts Payable Specialist
Creative Financial Staffing is working on backfilling an Accounts Payable Specialist role with our client in Chicopee. We placed their Accounts Payable Specialist in January on a temporary basis, and she just landed a permanent opportunity elsewhere. We're looking to source a new Accounts Payable Specialist for a Monday start date!
Position: Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist (see below in italics)
Location: Chicopee, MA
Compensation: Up to $26/hour
About the Position:
- Stable organization, that's been in business for nearly 100 years
- This position reports to the Controller
- The Accounts Payable Specialist will work 3-4 days per week/Monday - Thursday, up to 28 hours
- CFS placed their Accounts Payable Specialist a few months ago on a temporary engagement
- That individual just landed a permanent role, and is leaving. We are backfilling the role, starting a new candidate this Monday!
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Full cycle Accounts Payable, processing a high volume of invoices per week (200+)
- Manage the check runs
Preferred Qualifications of the Position:
- Candidates must be able to process a high volume of invoices, and move quickly to keep up with the fast pace environment! This is a must-have.
