OVERVIEW OF THE BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Apply reimbursements with precision.
• Billing Specialist prepares detailed spreadsheets for accurate record-keeping.
• Enter information into the computer or compute amounts due.
• Generate invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms, and dates of shipment.
• Generate credit memorandums to indicate returned or incorrectly billed merchandise.
• Billing Specialist generates credit forms for customers or finance companies.
• Post transactions to the general ledger.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE:

• 2+ years of recent billing experience.
• Attention to detail for precise and accurate billing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Billing Specialist must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups & pivot tables) is a PLUS.
