Our client is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their Accounting and Finance team!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Responsible for cost control and accounting including collecting and analyzing data to determine costs of each project and working alongside sales to convey project quote
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting financial statements and analysis
  • Prepare month end close including all account reconciliations and ensure daily bookkeeping activities from all departments are performed on time and accurate and done in accordance with US GAAP
  • Responsible for all Payroll accounting related activities
  • Prepare monthly forecast and annual budget
  • Responsible for holding monthly meetings, and preparing monthly financial report analysis, sales reports, and sales commission reports as required
  • Liaise with external tax accounting firms to review annual financial statement reports and tax return filings to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Numerous and varied ad hoc financial analysis as required
  • Other responsibilities and duties as required

Qualifications preferred for the Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well versed in US GAAP, AICPA, and FASB accounting principals
  • Demonstrate the highest level of work ethic and discretion given confidentiality of information
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently is required
  • In depth experience with month end close, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, financial reporting, and budgeting
  • Team orientated and highly collaborative
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment
