Job Duties: Maintains lead role of team aligned with and dedicated to Enterprise Risk Management, FCRM, Compliance, Audit. Project portfolio includes multiple, complex, concurrent projects with enterprise-wide impact. Responsibilities include end-to-end duties of PMO methodology such as requirements gathering, work planning, communications, issue resolution, expense tracking, testing coordination financial reporting and change management. Specifically, duties include: client-centric line of business relationship management for departments reporting to Chief Risk Office and Director of Audit including but not limited to Enterprise Risk Management, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, and Internal Audit. Meets with business units to develop and demonstrate an understanding of their business needs, expectations, and requirements. Maintains roadmap of 3 year project objectives. Collaborates with line of business management and project teams to estimate costs for portfolio of project, project level, and internal resource assignment tracking. Provides management with regular project updates and solutions for potential issues and delays. Maintains end to end management of project execution including: Develops, maintains, reviews, and disseminates all project documentation including business requirements, status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules, and post mortem reviews. Timing for tasks creating essential documentation and tracking. Tracks project budgets; Works with external vendors to create statements of work (SOWs) or professional engagements for specific projects. Coordinates and leads all activities of the project team and ensures that project tasks are completed by scheduling and facilitating team meetings, executive updates, and required tasks. Utilizes analytical skills to make critical decisions and solve problems. Identifies project risks early and assists by providing timely recommendations for risk avoidance. Ensures effective utilization of each team member related to project needs and project manager skillsets. Serves as a resource for lower level staff. Provides direction and guidance on tasks as needed. Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Other duties may be assigned.
Occasional domestic travel (10%) may be requested to visit other company sites or vendors.
Requirements: The position VP Project Manager Senior requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate project management experience in project deployment.
Additionally, the applicant must have experience with: i. Translating into actionable workplan tasks the regulatory language from FFIEC, OCC, SEC Audit Partners (RSM), and FinCen; ii. Identifying workflow process, data mapping, and technical impediments to solution deployment and bucket by 1) impact to Bank Operations 2) Impact to customers and 3) impact to meeting regulatory mandates; iii. Reading and writing User Stories or Detailed Requirements; iv. Work Plan, Project Plan Creation in either MS Project, Excel, or Similar Tool; SharePoint, MS Office suite including MS Excel and Visio (or Lucent); v. Communicating and training other staff on skills listed above.
