Perform due diligence on proposed commercial loans. As an analyst, demonstrate sound understanding of the fundamentals of analyzing commercial real estate transactions.
Essential Job Functions
The analyst position will provide support for the Underwriting staff in the preparation of due diligence files and the credit approval submissions. The duties will include, but are not limited to:
Tracking receipt of due diligence items.
Reviewing and interpreting due diligence data and advising Underwriter of status and any issues that arise as a result of the due diligence disclosures.
Process Underwriting files in accordance with internal requirements.
Input rent rolls and historical operating expenses.
Research market comparables in third-party databases.
Reviewing third part reports.
Complete site inspections.
Ordering credit reports and public searches.
Maintaining loan approval documentation and maintaining documents to meet corporate compliance requirements.
Arranging travel and setting up site inspections.
Populating Closer pipeline data.
Setting up conference calls.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in commercial real estate.
Typing; software experience and training in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and email programs.
Highly organized and analytical individual with the ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
