Tax Manager - International

Robert Half is looking for an International Tax Manager for their client in the Western Suburbs. The International Tax Manager will utilize acquired tax knowledge and experience to manage and direct all aspects of US international tax function. The International Tax Manager will report to the Director of Tax and will have regular interaction with various areas and management levels of the business and with outside advisors, auditors and governmental authorities. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: ? Manage quarterly and annual U.S. international income tax provisions, including APB 23 positions, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F income, E P, foreign tax pools, and uncertain tax positions analyses. ? Manage preparation and review of quarterly and annual non-U.S. income tax provisions, including AETR calculations, rate reconciliations, and account rollforwards. ? Manage foreign income tax compliance requirements, including potential centralization of international tax compliance functions. ? Manage review and rollout of transfer pricing policies, including implementation of transfer pricing documentation to meet requirements ? Manage U.S. international income tax compliance for all foreign entities, including computation of subpart F income, earnings profits, and all related forms, disclosures and schedules. ? Assist with audit support in the US and foreign jurisdictions, including coordination with counterparts in foreign subsidiaries and external advisors. ? Analyze international and local country tax planning around all aspects of the business, including identification of issues, proper structuring of effective and tax-efficient strategies, and driving implementation of solutions. ? Advise on international tax aspects of business expansion, including entering into new markets and cross-border transactions involving multiple tax jurisdictions. ? Perform international tax technical research and prepare appropriate memorandums or other documentation for issues researched. ? Work closely with other members of the finance organization, including Treasury, Accounting, FP A, across all jurisdictions. ? Prepare relevant aspects of tax footnotes and disclosures for SEC filings. ? Remain up to date on tax legislation and regulatory developments that may impact the company, both domestically and overseas. ? Requirements

Solid experience in U.S. international tax rules, including international tax aspects of provisions, U.S. international income tax compliance, foreign tax provisions and foreign income tax compliance requirements. ? Working knowledge of federal and state income tax accounting and provision and federal and state income tax compliance. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; strong organizational and documentation skills. ? Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, time sensitive and changing environment. ? Ability to work independently, in teams and cross-functionally throughout all levels of the organization and with outside advisors. ? Ability to stay current with ever changing tax law at the federal, international, state and local levels and quickly assess impacts on the business. ? Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to occasionally travel internationally. ? Experience with OneSource a plus. ? Applicable Education, Experience, Licensing and Capabilities: ? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline ? Preferred candidate will have a J.D., Master?s in Tax or Accounting, or L.L.M in Tax. ? MS Taxation a plus. ?
