Financial Analyst/ Finance Manager There is an imperative need for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Warren, Michigan area by a client of Robert Half Finance and Accounting. Interested candidates should have prior experience in coordinating various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will ensure variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. The main responsibilities of this Senior Financial Analyst/Finance Manager role will include developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, driving world class strategic and financial planning methods, and building long-range operating plans to support business initiatives. You will play an integral role in planning processes and improving upon monthly and quarterly reporting as the Senior Financial Analyst/Finance Manager. For immediate consideration, please reach out to Bill Watts 248-205-5582 Ext 48120 or email [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] What you get to do every day - Deliver monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Monitor monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Produce and monitor forecasting reports - Discern and describe internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Assist Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Monitor weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting - Equip effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Cooperate with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation and prioritization - In this role, you will be in close partnership with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities -Strong M&A and due diligence

Requirements

-Public accounting blend with manufacturing finance or transaction advisory services or corporate development rotational programs - Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel - Proficiency in simplifying complex problems and building solutions - 3+ years experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required - Very knowledgeable in financial reporting tools - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA preferred - Strong presentation skills
