Responsibilities:


  • Ensure employee benefit programs (health and welfare, retirement, 401K) are administered in accordance with the plan documents and applicable regulations

  • Fully responsible for FMLA and Disability program management

  • Weekly fund 401k and benefit plans. Monitor payroll deferrals, coordinate annual audits, conduct periodic internal audits, and review and update internal controls as needed. Respond to participant questions and resolve discrepancies

  • Weekly submit vendor billings to accounts payable

  • Assist with acquisitions and merging of benefit plans

  • Work closely with our benefits administration provider, HRIS, HR, IT, and payroll groups

  • Manage communications and meetings for the annual enrollment

  • Review new hire communications and all employee regular ongoing communications

  • Manage wellness programs

  • Coordinate Summary Plan Descriptions updates, ACA testing and communications and other compliance projects

  • Develop presentations for management as needed

  • Continually review existing processes with a goal toward improved efficiency and accuracy. Recommend enhancements to management

Requirements

  • Prepare benefit communications for annual enrollment
  • Coordinate annual benefit renewal processes across all benefit programs
  • Assist employee with benefit questions
  • Run reports and create benefits reports to monitor benefit plan enrollment
  • Oversee all retirement benefit programs including defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution plans and SERP
  • Review all employee health and welfare benefit communications
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Assist employees with benefit claims issues
  • Ensure benefits and employee health programs
  • Support all benefit program administration
  • Escalated benefit inquiries from employees
  • Enroll new employees in benefit plans
  • Assist employees with benefit questions
  • Assist in employee benefits communications
  • Manage benefit administration of fully-insured medical plans
  • Handling benefit inquiries where benefit administration precedence is
