RESPONSIBILITIES

•  



• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  
  



• Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance, including reviewing and comparing to actual results.

  
  



• Drives business value by providing financial and analytical counsel to facilitate decision-marking around strategic business initiatives.

  
  



• Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications on future results.

  
  



• Creates financial models and scenarios as a key input for business planning decisions.

  
  



• Manages annual budget processes, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends and operational effectiveness.

  
  



• Report weekly and monthly financial and operating metrics and enforcing strong financial controllership

  
  



• Manage the financial planning process. Model, analyze and forecast metrics that drive budgeting, forecasting and business decisions

  
  



• Make recommendations to improving the efficiency of the financial reporting processes and budget.

  
  
  
  

  Provides accurate and timely feedback on discrepancies and unreasonable and unsupported financial conditions or situations

  
  



• Provides financial consulting regarding pricing and special projects.

  
  



• Assist in the direction of work performed other team members and provides direct technical leadership of Financial Analysts.

  
  



• Report on financial status throughout the year, explaining variances and creating opportunities to meet the organizations objectives.

  
  



• Develop financial models to be used for budgets, pricing, new site openings, productivity and financial analyses.

  
  



• Preparing detailed financial models for business segments, drive business initiatives, and identify, implement, and deliver key operational efficiencies

  
  
  
  

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting


• 3-5 years of relevant finance experience


• Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills


• Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment


• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload


• Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, professional demeanor


• Experience establishing processes and coordinating multiple teams to facilitate timely and accurate deliverables


• Familiarity with financial reporting software, including Cognos TM1, SQL, and other similar tools


• Comfortable with analyzing large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management


• A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
