This position ensures adherence to corporate policies as well as banking regulations by assisting with the administration of the Bank’s AML compliance program. The Senior Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be risk qualification of high risk customers, customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on both existing and prospective customers; assistance with new business account review, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) alerts, and enhancements to line of business policies, procedures and controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews of high-risk customers.
• Supports the Bank’s high risk business units (i.e. large money service business, third party payment processor, prepaid card).
• Analyzes complex patterns of money movement associated with large and complex account relationships.
• Documents CDD/EDD review findings for senior management and retains appropriately detailed case files.
• Provides advice to bankers and liaise directly with bankers on AML, OFAC and fraud mitigation matters.
• Provides internal department training on processes and procedures.
• Participates in the development of new and/or updates to policies and procedures.
• Provides support, as needed, with:
o new business account review and exception reporting;
o FATCA review and approval;
o OFAC alert reviews;
o Currency Transaction Report (CTR) preparation314(a) requests;
o monetary instrument monitoring;
• Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations;
• “LIVE” the Bank’s Mission Statement and “PRACTICE” the Bank’s Corporate Strategy;
• Other duties may be assigned.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and three or more years of BSA or compliance related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicant must have strong writing skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates / certification for BSA/AML or Fraud required.
