The Pricing & Contracting Analytics Specialist will support
McKesson Specialty Health's Group Purchasing Organization ('GPOs') in the
pharmaceutical contract negotiation and execution for Oncology and
Multi-Specialty Clinic members.
Through a combination of fundamental data analysis, data
visualizations, and reporting, the analyst will provide insights on topics such
Member clinic GPO
contract performance and trends
segmentation and contracting strategy
GPO value-add and Key
Performance Indicator metric evaluation
reimbursement and clinical trends
Perform and support
data-driven analyses that define, measure, and investigate current operational
trends, financial trends, and strategic insights related to McKesson's GPOs
Maintain, update, and distribute
customer-facing and internal dashboards that track GPO and membership Key
Perform analyses that highlight and
value membership performance opportunities; communicate findings to key
stakeholders including senior management
Partner with GPO Account Executives
to prepare and participate in presentations for pharma manufacturer meetings
Analyze new or amended contracting
opportunities; identify new contracting opportunities
Support GPO operational functions
(i.e. internal/external reporting, monitor key performance indicators, etc)
Perform ad-hoc, data
development with IT to enhance automation and visibility
5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
degree required; MBA preferred
problem solving and analytical skills. Comfortable dealing with large amount of
data and knowledge of databases preferred
to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent tasks
ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable
have high attention to detail and be able to deliver high quality and accurate
communicator, both verbal and written
working both independently and in a team environment
driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment
knowledge and experience preferred but not required
Excel skills required. SAP (front end, BW,
and Business Objects), and Tableau experience preferred.
