Top Three Skills:1. 2+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules. Preferably version 9.2.
2. Expert level experience with MS Excel.
3. 2+ years of financial and/or accounting background.
Our customer recently promoted their only PeopleSoft Financials Analyst and they need a full time hire to backfill this person. There is a team of 14 that support the various PeopleSoft modules, but this person will be solely in charge of the Financials module. which will include production support, customization's, patches, upgrades...etc.
-Financial Management: Improve the financial health of the organization by analyzing data, assessing variances, identifying trends, and proposing corrective actions; Increase productivity by discovering root causes of inefficiencies and developing and implementing process improvements to address them; Document processes and internal controls; Interface with central accounting and budgeting departments
Financial Reporting: Perform ad hoc analytics to help the Leadership Team make informed financial decisions; Prepare regular financial reports and presentations that highlight trends and key performance; Summarize designated fund activities; Prepare monthly supporting schedules and analysis.
-Financial Planning: Create revenue models to project impact of various enrollment scenarios; Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures; Coordinate with 25+ budget managers to establish a $45m+ operating budget; Generate and maintain pro forma financial statements to assess projected margins; Assist in reviewing competitive landscape among competing schools
Special projects and other duties as assigned in a dynamic environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business; 2 years of work experience in a related business field (i.e. finance, analytics, etc.); Demonstrated experience in finance/accounting, administrative support, ability to work with groups and independently, ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, ability to meet deadlines. Must have strong interpersonal skills. General PC operations, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Proficiency in Excel a must.
