Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently working with a successful, Non-Profit, organization with a full-time opening for an efficient, Payroll Manager, in their Blue Bell, PA location. The Payroll Manager will oversee the direct payroll procedures ensuring compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax requirements. This Payroll Manager should be analytical and methodical, with experience with hands on payroll and thorough knowledge of payroll regulations. Primary Responsibilities • Manage payroll process and staff • Ensure compliance with relevant laws/internal policies • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports • Approve changes in exemptions • Resolve payroll discrepancies • Maintain general ledger regarding payroll transactions • Coach/guide payroll team • Coordinate with finance and human resource teams • Other accounting/bookkeeping duties when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years’ experience as a Payroll Manager or similar • 2+ years of Bookkeeping experience • PDS experience a plus • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Outstanding communication skills If you have a strong payroll background with basic accounting knowledge, this Payroll Manager role may be perfect for you!
