This Payroll Administrator opportunity is located in Pasadena, California and is a long-term temporary role. Key responsibilities - Manage employee deductions and other liabilities - Report changes where necessary after maintaining payroll operations via company policies and procedures - Organize and compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages in order to draft relevant reports - Enter changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers as part of managing payroll records - Put together summaries of employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to calculate all payroll liabilities - Collect, calculate, and enter relevant data to maintain payroll records - Miscellaneous duties as assigned - Using federal and state regulations and guidelines, certify company compliance - Answer questions and requests related to payroll information - Execute relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to circulate amongst department heads - Ensure employee confidence by protecting payroll operations and confidential information - Manage payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information - Perform review and verification of source documents - Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll Send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]

Requirements

- Certified Payroll detail oriented will be given preference - Strong familiarity with workday - Payroll experience - Kronos experience - Expertise in federal and state payroll regulations and requirements - Understanding of internal controls - Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data - 2+ years of strong payroll experience - Prior experience working with collections/accounting software - Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills - Understanding of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen - Proficient with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.
