Don't wait?call us today or send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] How you will make an impact - Detail all payroll liabilities by establishing employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payment - Maintain all updates of payroll records by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers - Miscellaneous duties as assigned - Put together for department heads the circulation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports - Understand and report necessary changes to payroll operations by maintaining established policies and procedures - Ensure employee confidence by protecting payroll operations and confidential information - Deliver assistance to payroll with internal and external audits - Handle reconciliation of employee deductions and other relevant liabilities - Retrieve and assess information in order to resolve payroll discrepancies - Review source documents with necessary verification - Facilitate company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines - Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data - Produce reports after compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages - Answer questions and requests related to payroll information

Requirements

- Foundational knowledge in payroll systems for 100-500 employees - Comprehensive knowledge of ADP Financial Services - Deep understanding of payroll - Benefits payroll experience preferred - Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc. - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - 2+ years of relevant experience in payroll - Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular - Knowledgeable about internal controls - Prior experience working with collections/accounting software - Accurate, swift, data entry abilities - Experienced in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen - Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred - Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
