Responsibilities - Ensure employee confidence by protecting payroll operations and confidential information - Retrieve and assess information in order to resolve payroll discrepancies - Provide help with all internal and external audits of payroll - Using federal and state regulations and guidelines, ensure company compliance - Report needed changes after maintaining payroll operations according to established policies and procedures - Perform other tasks as necessary - Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages as part of report preparation - Exercise review and verification of source documents - Track payroll record changes by entering updates in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers - Execute relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to circulate amongst department heads - Able to reconcile employee deductions and other liabilities - Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data - Answer questions and requests related to payroll information - Calculate employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments to establish payroll liabilities Please send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]

Requirements

- Prior experience using accounting software - Well-informed in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen - Expertise with internal controls - Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements - Excellent data entry skills - Expertise in Workday Payroll - Workday experience - Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills - Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills - Certified Payroll detail oriented designation favored - Relevant experience should include 2+ years in payroll - Capable of managing high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.
