Office Manager

Description



The Office Manager will support CU Members Mortgage and manage the day to day operations of our Dallas office.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office
  • Developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
  • Providing general office, administrative and clerical support
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  • Manage schedules, calendars and appointments
  • Ensuring that the office is operating optimally (phones, equipment, etc.)
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Answering incoming phone calls and receiving clients
  • Preparing correspondences
  • Scanning documents for electronic storage
  • Receiving and distributing departmental mail
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory and equipment
  • Maintaining the reception area
  • New employee set ups and badges
  • Prepare various expense reports
  • Act as a liaison with vendors
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Office Management and/or Administrative Assistant experience
  • Background in a Credit Union environment preferred
  • Prior Mortgage experience preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to plan work activities and stay on schedule
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced working environment
  • Functional knowledge of standard office equipment (copier/printer, scanner, etc.)
  • Occasional lifting, up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain filing systems, both physical and virtual
