*Positions with an 'FTE' (full time equivalency) of  .875 - 1.0  are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits.  Positions with an 'FTE' of  .5 - .874  are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*


Shift: 1  


Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring quality, orientation, and training of Patient Financial Services staff and vendors. Responsible for vendors' compliance with their Froedtert Health contracts. Performs assigned audits to identify potential issues that may delay account resolution or impede customer service. Participates in creating solutions and resolving issues related to operations including staff daily work and vendor interactions. Creates written workflows, and procedures, develops training materials, and prepares reports for Management. Maintains departmental policy and procedure manual in accordance with all applicable health system policies and federal regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:
2-3 years of experience in hospital or health care related business office is required. Experience performing billing and follow up on unpaid hospital or physician claims preferred. Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payor rules preferred. Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. In lieu of degree, knowledge gained through 3-5 years of work experience of which 2-3 years are obtained in a health care business office performing duties that would provide experience gained through obtaining degree will be considered. Bachelor's degree is preferred.


Other information:
Epic credentialed trainer designation to be obtained within 1 year of employment. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving required. Analytical skills necessary to prepare and interpret statistical reports and experience using Microsoft suite required. Experience creating flowchart documents preferred. Understanding of business functions and relationships between the Revenue Cycle along with Finance, Managed Care, Corporate Compliance, Utilization Management and Social Services preferred. Report writing experience preferred.
