Accountemps is seeking skilled candidates for an Investment Operations Specialist position at a thriving company in the Bank - International industry. If you want to become a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management, this Invest Operations Specialist position might be the job for you! Your duties would include conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, you're a good fit for this position. You will be expected to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Investment Operations Specialist role, which is a long-term temporary employment opportunity, is based in the Saint Paul, Minnesota, area. Key responsibilities - Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations - Gather and oversee forecasting reports - Flexible individual comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations - Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide decision making support - Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance - Keep up weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans - Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending

Requirements

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity - Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Customer service experience - Strong familiarity with investment banking - Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
