The Financial Analyst will be a critical part of the organization and will offer sound recommendations on investment opportunities. This is a small investment organization looking to mentor and develop the Financial Analyst for growth and the organization grows. The leadership team represents the best in the industry. The Financial analyst will evaluate the financial situation generating appropriate reports, both written and oral, regarding their recommendations. The Financial Analyst will monitor and interpret available data such as industry and economic trends, forecast the current trends into probable future profitability, determine a fair market value, and recommend action to the company for the investors. The Financial Analyst will be an excellent critical thinker; can logically determine the best course of action regarding any potential investment. He or she should be lifelong and active learners in order to remain current regarding market conditions and new trends, and to be able to predict the long-term results of their investment decisions. Job Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include: ? Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies for real-estate in targeted regions ? Look back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision ? Interacts and commutes recommendations to the CFO and CEO ? Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products ? Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios ? Work with established and develop new financial models to analyze and make sound recommendations for real estate investments

Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in business or related field ? 2+ years of experience in an analyst role ? Prefer someone with real estate industry experience ? Highly self-motivated, disciplined and driven ? Ability to work under pressure, to anticipate problems and to creatively bring solutions to the various business situations ? Advanced Excel skills ? Analytical skills - must process a range of information in finding profitable investments. ? Communication skills - Must be able to clearly explain their recommendations to leadership ? Computer skills - must be adept at using software packages to analyze financial data, see trends, create portfolios, and make forecasts. ? Decision making skills - must provide a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell an investment ? Detail oriented - must pay attention to details when reviewing possible investments, as small issues may have large implications for the health of an investment. ? Math skills - use mathematical skills when estimating the value of financial securities.
