Internal Auditor Work for one of the top ranked employers in DFW! Due to continuous growth one of our global manufacturing clients is looking to add two newly created Internal Auditors to their team! Our client offers unlimited opportunity for growth whether in the audit group or within another line of business. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and determining the reliability of internal controls, supporting annual risk assessment and corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, preparing audit reports, reporting results to management and other related duties. This is a dynamic position that requires working with personnel across all functions of the company and at all levels of responsibility. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, as well as strong critical thinking, communication and technology skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification or Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification is preferred but not required. - CPA certification a plus - Knowledge of operational auditing - Solid understanding of financial auditing - 2+ years of public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable - Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications - Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP) - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
