We are an industry leader in manufacturing with an immediate need for an Internal Auditor. This is a direct hire, permanent job located in the Quad Cities area. Relocation assistance is available for candidates not local to the Quad Cities area.

In this role, you will be involved with internal audits for company locations and participate in determining our internal controls are adequate. These are growth opportunities within the company with the chance to advance within both the operations and finance groups into senior roles or management positions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit testing and identify deficiencies for further investigation.


• Assist in preparation of audit reports and recommendations as well as presentation of audit findings to management.


• Participate in special audits, and annual control testing for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance or Accounting.


• At least two years experience in internal audit.


• Knowledge of US GAAP and auditing requirements/standards.


• Demonstrated experience analyzing financial data.


• CPA or CIA certifications or MBA a plus but not required.


• Ability to travel up to 25%
