Job Title: Interactive Art Director Location: San Francisco, CA Do you like to conceptualize and execute creative solutions? Do you create stunning visuals for both print and digital media? Are you good at working closely with creative directors to translate marketing and brand strategies into designs the render beautifully in print and in code? If so, The Creative Group (Robert Half) is seeking an Interactive Art Director for our Fortune 50 client in San Francisco, CA! The ideal candidate should be part creative, part technical, and part production; but primarily focused on the visual expression of business objectives. You will partner with copywriters to concept on projects and you will be expected to have the technical and aesthetic fine points of graphic design and know the difference between an idea and an execution. This opportunity is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred. • 6+ years design experience in an agency or corporate environment. • Must possess exceptional computer skills. Proficiency on Mac OS platform is a must. PC knowledge a plus. Thorough knowledge of the following software applications is required, Adobe CS6 (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Additional knowledge of digital (html, etc.) and video/animation software (Flash, After Effects) is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics. • Understand the fine points of brand guidelines and adhere to their standards and rules.
