Fund Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities of Fund Accounting Supervisor

●  Oversee accounting functions for operating budget in excess of $1 million

●  Prepare quarterly financial statements, fund statements and agency statements

●  Supervise Fund Accounting Clerk

●  Review all journal entries, cash deposits, vendor payables and grants payables

●  Review monthly bank and investment account reconciliations and journals

●  Serve as the contact for financial inquiries

Qualifications for Fund Accounting Supervisor

●  Bachelor’s degree required, B.S. in Accounting preferred (CPA is a plus)

●  3+ years of general accounting experience in a non-profit environment, fund accounting experience preferred.

●  Thorough knowledge of GAAP.

●  Proficient in MS Office Applications – Word, Excel, etc.

●  Strong oral and written communication skills

●  Proven supervision and interpersonal relationship skills

●  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
