Summary:



  • Prepare monthly reporting, business analysis and key data summaries. Assist in the budget and forecasting process, and periodic analysis of business performance.

  • Looking for someone inquisitive, who wants to learn new things and likes to do research.

  • Has a positive attitude and is confident. Strong attention to detail.

  • This person would support the IFRS 17 implementation project by researching and documenting workflows, helping to develop test plans and reviewing test output. Updating and maintaining SAP hierarchies and reports. Supporting the management reporting tool (SAP BPC).




Requirements

Responsibilities:


  • Would like to have someone with a life insurance background, even P&C would be helpful.

  • Must have an accounting degree. IFRS knowledge a plus - IFRS 17 even better - as will assist with implementation of IFRS 17.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, primarily Word and Excel/VBA to assist with automation of existing processes using best practices.

  • Would like someone with some coding experience or at least can read and decipher code.

  • Ability to use SAP for data extraction and research. Possible back-fill for addition of new accounts and hierarchy updates.

  • Want someone with a positive attitude and can work well with others.

  • Want someone that is inquisitive – wants to get to the how and why. Someone who likes to learn new things and is willing to dig in and do research.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Willing to do any level of work assigned – no attitude about work being beneath them.

  • Experience working with SQL/Databases
