Do you want to contribute as a finance professional in a new, challenging role? There's an urgent need for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join a client via Robert Half Finance and Accounting in the Darien, Connecticut area. You will improve upon monthly and quarterly reporting and handle the operation and cultivation of data-driven planning processes. Conduct the development of forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, build long-range operating plans to support business initiatives, and drive world class strategic and financial planning methods, in this Manager opportunity. You will contribute variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks, which will be imperative to the coordination of various planning cycles. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA and or CPA a plus) • 6-10 years of business or financial analysis experience required, preferably in a dynamic environment • Demonstrated knowledge of Cash Flow, Balance Sheet & Income Statements • Prior experience with Hyperion/Essbase • Experience with Smart View MS Excel Add-In, SQL coding, Oracle, Access, Brio, and VBA a plus • Strong presentation and PC skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. • Experience formulating variance analysis, creating financial models, performing budgets / forecasts, and reviewing business cases • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to quickly collect, interpret, analyze, and present financial data in an accurate and concise manner • Experience designing and building moderately complex business / analytical models • Experience monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators • Prior executive exposure and proven ability to effectively present material to senior leaders a plus • Astute communicator, knowing when and what to communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure no missed opportunities and/or no surprises • Demonstrated experience working as part of a team • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Brings high level of energy to his / her work and a positive, can-do attitude For immediate consideration please send your resume to Justin Tishman: [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] or call 203-324-3399 Desk/203-807-6003 Cell
