Outstanding company in Bakersfield, Ca., is in need a Financial Analyst who will be providing support for the senior management team, the Business Analyst will prepare financial and operating analysis and reports to assist management in evaluating financial performance and business opportunities.
•Bachelor's Degree in accounting, agriculture business/finance or related field
•3+ years of related work experience; bank, private equity, supply chain, or agriculture industry experience is preferred
•Ability to develop Power point presentations for senior management and board members.
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts. Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account company?s goals and financial standing
•Demonstrated knowledge in interpreting and analyzing financial and operational data, provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
•Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot tables, Power point & Word.
•This position requires a person with strong communication skills to all levels within the company and outside (customers/vendors).
