The Financial Analyst will manage financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional daily functions will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. What you get to do every single day - Compose and oversee forecasting reports - Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support - This position requires a flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information - Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations - Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P&L forecasting

Requirements

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Create Reports experience desired - Expertise in Daily Cash Flow - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
