Accountemps is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst. Candidates who want to become a key partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management will be interested in this opening for a Financial Analyst. If you're looking for work where you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans, this is a good fit for you. You will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is a temporary employment opportunity in the Century City. Your responsibilities - Adaptable individual experienced in analyzing large amounts of information and managing expectations - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Authenticate routine Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting - Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans - Create effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and recommendation support - Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes - Function next to senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Inspect performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Complete and direct forecasting reports If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well - Financial analysis experience desired - Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Background in financial analysis and planning - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is a plus - Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
