A fast-growing, dynamic team is working with Accountemps to find a Financial Analyst, who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term temporary employment opportunity and is located in the Miami, Florida, area. To succeed in this Financial Analyst position, you will need to be comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your duties will also include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.

How you will make an impact

- Compile and supervise forecasting reports

- Work closely with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

- Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

- Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations

- Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

- Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Keep up weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

- Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

- Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

- Individual that enjoys a flexible work environment, experienced in handling vast amounts of information and managing expectations

Requirements

- Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Excellent oral and written communications skills

- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Financial statement preparation experience highly desired

- Skills in Ad Hoc Analysis

- Good understanding of Ad Hoc Reporting

- Earlier work involving Ad Hoc Reporting

- Financial Statement experience

- Financial reporting experience

- Previous experience working with Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

- Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel

- Practical knowledge of Prepare Financial Statements

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis

- Proven knowledge of Financial Statement Audits

- Well-founded grasp of Provide Financial Analysis

- Quality experience with Prepare Financial Reports

- General familiarity with Review Financial Statements

- Financial modeling experience

- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferential)

- Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
