This Financial Analyst position will require the candidate to execute financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Must be able to effectively advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. Key responsibilities - Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support - Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P L forecasting - Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks - An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Assemble and review forecasting reports - Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Requirements

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement - Budget forecasting experience preferred - Proficiency in Actual Variance Analysis - Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Background in financial analysis and planning - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
