This Financial Analyst role is a short-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity in the Duluth, Georgia, area. Major responsibilities - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Flexible individual capable of handling large amounts of information and managing expectations - Complete and direct forecasting reports - Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P L forecasting - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes - Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans - Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting - Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

Requirements

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required - Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis - Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience considered) - Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills - Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
