A publicly traded multi billion dollar revenue Gov Con organization is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team. This role will require the candidate to complete financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional daily functions will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Main responsibilities includes: - Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks - Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed - Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P L forecasting - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations - Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support - Compile and monitor forecasting reports

Requirements
