Financial Analyst

Innovative tech firm seeking a Financial Analyst to manage financial forecasting and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial information and documents findings
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Act as liaison between the finance department and other departments throughout organization
  • Ensure contract compliance on all activities
  • Prepare financial information and reports for internal and external clients
  • Develop and prepares budgets, financial forecasts and tracking reports to assist management in meeting fiscal objectives and contractual financial requirements
  • Reconcile financial activities, identifies and corrects discrepancies and problems
  • Identify and research financial trends and briefs management on emerging budget issues, and assists department management in mitigating financial issues
  • Serve as subject matter expert for financial practices and policies to ensure billing and financial integrity
  • Consolidate forecasts and prepare variance
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management



The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Two years of related experience required
  • Three in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, outstanding verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and results oriented
  • Knowledge of financial and managerial accounting
  • Ability to work independently and to interact successfully with project staff
  • Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in the creation of complex data reports and analysis
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
